Which do you prefer? I recently got a Samsubg S7 Edge. I tried it out and after using it I don't know why there is 1,000 diifferent types of phones that run Android. I am a fan of the Google Pixel. But I prefer iOS.

I have an old iPhone 5. I think they just came out with iPhone 10 not too long ago. My phone is about as old as my grandma but it still gets the job done. However I would love to upgrade and get an iPhone 10. Family just got an iphone 7 I think and never gave me a new one. But I prefer iOS over android. I've seen a lot of android phones and it just seems apple does a much better job with phones than anyone else.

I am an android fan all the way! i enjoy the ability to do and program my phone however i want without any restrictions.

This. Apple are way too restrictive with their software, and I find iOS really quite basic in comparison.. It hasn't really changed too much over the generations of the iPhone which is a shame.

As an iOS user, in terms of it being “too restrictive,” I have to disagree. I have a spare Android and recently got another Android and found they weren’t that much different apart from the keyboard.

I currently have an iPhone XR that I got on the day it came out. I was an android user before, had a Samsung S8 worked great at first but began having tons of problems with it so I went to the iPhone. And being anti apple I thought it was going to be hell but honestly really like it.

I've already tried both of them, Ios and Android. Till end 2018 i had an iphone 7, but decided to go back to samsung, so i changed to Note 8 which i really find amazing, whit lots of functions for the stylus pen. I can say i'm an Android fan forever, there are a lot of things i find limited about IOS, as for the Android you can customise everything you want, also i have my onw order of things on the phone screen, which i keep since +5 years ago ;)

Anyway, i'm thinking to upgrade to the newest Samsung Note, maybe end of the year when the prices go down, or keep it till the next version of Note that will go out ;)

I haven't really owned an iPhone or a product with iOS to be fair, and most of the ideas I have against Apple are probably not longer valid. It's been a long time since the first iPhone came out, after all.

I've used a few smartphones, an Xperia and an Oppo have been the latest two. So far I have been feeling pretty good with Android. It gets things done and the store has a lot of choice for different apps. I don't feel like I am missing out.

Privacy is a factor to determine what’s best.

Do you think this is real?

I think that since the web 2.0 everything is controlled and monitored.

Ontopic, i like'em both, each one of them has their own good stuff. I haven't tried Iphone just yet but someday i'm sure i'm gonna get one.

I’ve used both. I like iOS a bit more because of iMessage , smoothness, bug free experience, and fast updates.

This^

I had Android phones before and they remind me so much of Windows and just how slow Windows is - my work computer has worked faster than the Androids I've had before. iOS is just smooth, no matter what you're trying to do. I'm a huge privacy nerd, too, which is why I love iOS. A friend of mine was able to hack into his whole families phones and read all of their text messages and control the phone - this was on one of the new Samsung Galaxy's running Android 10.0.

Another reason why I love iOS, I can actually update my phone whenever I want. :P

I've decided to stay away from jailbreaking my iPhone. I recently got the iPhone 11. In my opinion there's no reason for me to jailbreak it because usually the only point in that would be for modding video games. Which I used to do a lot of on original xbox back in the Halo 2 days. But it's not something I'd enjoy too much on a cell phone. And I bet your friend was a pretty decent hacker then. His family must have been quite frustrated lol. Bet it didn't take too long for them to find out though :ROFLMAO:

I would generally say that I prefer android, as I've never had owned my own iPhone and all my phones have been android. However, when I was younger I had an iPod touch and an iPad, and I loved playing games like temple run for example, on my mums iPhone. Therefore, I am surprised I didn't go down the route of being an Apple fanatic!
